London Calling

To love is the greatest gift we’re imparted with, something that’s impossible to summarize through mere words or pictures. It is a timeless treasure from the universe and bestowed within this precious gift one finds through love a deeper and higher truth of self that can be shared with another.

Love the most grandiose of all adventures.

While my usual propensity for adventuring is going solo, I found the perfect travel companion in said love, his name is Bryan 😉 We found on our overseas excursion that we adventure well together, with calm agility and fun intrigue.

Our fist stop on this journey was London for 3 full days, in all its English glory. A city that is etched in heart and mind as one that feels quite homey. With rich cultural heritage that is preserved from eras bygone, along with cheery people speaking our mother tongue.

IMG_6832

We stayed the first two nights outside of London in a perfectly picturesque English country village along the Thames.  We stayed with Bryan’s dear friend and his significant other, in their cozy home. They welcomed us warmly, our time there was lovely.

Reuniting with people in London is a favorite way to not only explore the city and places to eat, giving us a taste of local life and flavor, but also cherishing the people we know and love in one of the most fabulous cities in the world. We met with many friends throughout the city, including at Beaufort House in Chelsea and Smokey Tails in Hoxton Square. We also spent quality time with a family dear to me. ❤

Delightful every stop along the way.

Enjoying views of the majestic Buckingham Palace and its stately gardens, we strolled through the city,  getting lost to find where we were. We came across Hyde park and Kensington gardens. pleasantly surprised with how beautiful, fresh and expansive they were.

IMG_6508 (1)

All the sights and beauty of London embraced us in a glorious way. It was admirable to see how families and friends gathered in the afternoon for the traditional Sunday roasts, in homes, restaurants, even pubs. We observed phone-less, enthusiastic conversations and took note.

IMG_6857

And that was all a prelude……………….. I’ve been saving the best for last. 😉

We stayed at Blakes hotel in London in a pristine white room, with a four poster bed, tv in the mirror, huge antique bathtub, which felt like a dreamy escape. The concierge were jovial and welcoming.  The decorum was modernly decadent with a worldly flair.

IMG_6820

Romantically, letting the night take us where it would, we ventured out to an exquisite restaurant for a richly flavored dinner that left our tastebuds singing with flavors. Gallivanting through the city afterwards, everything was quiet, almost empty.  We stopped at the Shard for for panoramic views atop London.

IMG_6818

Walking over the Westminster bridge, there was a feeling of palpable excitement in the air. In the misty night, with droplets of rain falling ever so gracefully, I was calling into life intentions. The moment overcame us and I saw Bryan get down on his knee. I felt the pitter patter of my heart, feeling breathless as I heard him ask “Will you marry me?”.

IMG_6816

My heart was beaming, a shocked giddiness overcame us. The incredulousness of the moment came in an outpouring from the soul. It felt as though time stood still, spiraling through eternity as we gave our exclamations of love and devotion to one another and life. A beloved truth that was a known knowing when we first met.

IMG_6819

An emphatic YES resounded not only to the question, but to love’s calling. In all the ways it permeates life, through all the realms of having true love and a best friend. Love being the greatest gift we can give, it’s also in the receiving; Opening, being receptive and hearing when love comes beckoning.

I’m beyond grateful for sharing this dream life adventure.

7 Tips for an Empath

When I first wrote about being an empath, there wasn’t much on the internet sans a few articles. I have come to much of my own discoveries though trial and error, which has been a dazzling, intense process.

I’m just scratching the surface with this as this blog is my service. I have yet to make money off of it, the ads come from WordPress, not me. To clarify, being an empath is different from being empathetic. All humans have empathy and can be empathetic, unless they’re a psychopath. Where as empaths literally take on what has and is happening around them, including from others. Like a mirror to the environment they can feel people, places and events, even things that may be hidden, transforming the energy to higher vibrations. If you’re an empath know that fortifying yourself inwardly is where your true power lies and that your gift will develop to more than being an empath over time.

There are many skeptics in the world and people in status quo mindset and trying to explain what being an empath is can be futile, for you may be laughed at, as I have. Ironically, the same people who used to make fun of me, now copy off of me and my lifestyle. So, don’t let other people’s opinions of you make you become withdrawn, especially if you can feel their energies towards you and they’re not positive. You are an alluring, magnetic light with an amazing ability. Use it to empower and charge you and those around you. Just know that you know. You may attract people and become a trusted confidant, creating influence in individual and group connections, which I have seen in my own experience. I hope to see more scientific, metaphysical and psychological research into empaths in our upcoming future.

1. ENVIRONMENT:

World-Environment-Day

It is easy for empaths to adapt because of the ability to assimilate to the environment, making travel easy. Because empaths reflect others, getting sucked into other people’s fields and intentions can happen, discern the energies so as not to get swayed into something that goes against your principles. When out in public, hold and impress energy instead of always reflecting the environment. Once able to hold, presence becomes more purified, brilliant and stronger as the ability develops. Grounding and exercise are vital to finding peace within chaos and empaths tend to feel EMF’s. Be in nature if you feel bombarded. It’s understandable empaths may feel distracted even labeled add, adhd or other labels.

If you’re taking something on of someone’s  and it’s uncomfortable, you can notice it and don’t have to absorb it or play it out. It’s not yours to become. Of course we can sense douchebagery, bullshit, superficiality and misaligned intentions a mile away. That’s ok. Certain people may loathe you because of this, don’t take that on either. Just know others have their journey and stuff to work through, even if you can sense it, it’s not yours to judge. Instead, have compassion if you can.

2. PROCESSING:

01 Empath — Sensitive, Kind, Loving

Empaths may need more sleep than average because of the processing that is done in sleep and the levels we take on energy. Empaths may also be more in tune with other worlds, in dreamtime or even waking time. My brilliant teachers said, I travel the Lokas, or other worlds. If you’re an empath and working in these realms, our language is limited in these arenas, again, that’s ok, you know what is being worked on in those levels. When you need the hibernation and internalizing time, don’t be afraid to state that and set proper boundaries. Since we have such a caring nature it can also take a toll on our life force if our energy and boundaries are not properly respected.

3. SUBSTANCES:

spirits

Be aware with substances. Because empaths are such high level processors of the environment and the influx of thoughts and energy it’s easy to want to mask that with alcohol or other substances. Empaths will take on the energy of whatever is being ingested if not careful, so it’s easy to become what you’re drinking, smoking, taking, eating, etc. There is a reason they call alcohol spirits, because the energy or “spirits” of it are not always the most pleasant. As many people do not understand empaths, you need to know this for yourself because the explanations won’t be understood as to why your behavior may change. Moderation is KEY. Positive energy or blessing what you take can help.

4. BE IN YOUR BODY:

cropped-1384006_594888893890725_1460673816_n1

High vibrational energizing activities can bring your life force back into focus. Connect with someone who can understand if you need to be recharged and need positive encouragement. Other ways to be in your body or engage in the present are creative projects. Organizing. Painting. Cooking. Plant life like botanical gardens. Gong baths. Mantras. Sacred places. Music. Animals. Being around children. Foods. Yoga. SALT baths. Energy work like Reiki or Acupuncture. Parties. Exercise. Ocean. Nourishing, raw foods. Nature. Anything that brings you joy. Dancing. Laughing. Intimacy. Conversation. Connecting. Meditation. Making love. 1 glass of wine, in moderation 😉

5. CLEARING:

FullSizeRender
Altar with Clearing Tools

Many empaths are natural healers and find themselves drawn to their innate healing abilities. They may need to disengage to clear the energy they have taken on, at times, and have their space feel energetically safe. Sage is one of my favorite ways to cleanse unwanted energies over the past 10 years of burning it. Essential oils like frankincense and peppermint are really great for shifting denser vibrations into higher ones and releasing any energy that you may have taken on. Some nights I  douse my bed in lavender or frankincense spray before I get in it so that my sleep is restful and clearing. Crystals can help pull things out of the body when I lay them on me. Especially after driving in LA traffic 😉

If you’re feeling uncomfortable or heavy with someone or something else’s energy intend on it to be released and somehow, some way it will. Love is a vibration that sets everything free. I will give an easy meditation in a video next post for easy release.

When you’ve taken something on visualize it burning out with a violet flame that purifies everything on all levels.

6. PROTECT:

meditation2_large

To protect your energy: Visualize a light coming out of either your head or your heart depending on what suits you until it envelopes your energy in an orb around you. My profound teacher, who is also an empath said to visualize golden light around you before you leave your house every morning. Once you have fortified your inner light you will be effervescent in your ability to understand and use your gift. For in it’s essence, it is a gift. And you can beam that gift forward into the universe to impress upon it instead of it always impressing upon you.

7. TUNE IN:

Van-Renselar-Abstract-art-Abstract-art

My gift has manifested in a very clear voice, sometimes images, that knows. Learning to listen to it has been a lesson. On subtle levels we know what we need to give, or not give. Tune in and trust. If you’re an empath and have taken something on, feel into it, it may have a vision, feeling, thought or smell to it. Focus and see what it carries and the energy, then breathe light into it and LET IT GO.

As my fabulous teacher said “Do not allow yourself to become a victim to it. Find something to ground yourself into your body and bring joy to you”

Hope this helps and I will give some more links to articles I wrote in the past about this and meditations to help below. My next post will be a guided meditation for release.

Forgive

After months of feeling confused and unsure of my choices and path, like a veil lifting from my perception, a sense of clarity, positivity and happiness has encompassed me this past week.

I forgive, yes, forgive myself and others for any transgressions. Realizing that all is part of my learning.

and then let go,

fully…

Little resentment balloons pop and I come to ease and peace within, forgiveness is the ultimate emotional cleanser.

A part of Self-love is forgiveness, for self and others.

In holding resentment, one can be held back from the present and truly living. Resisting is futile, what is, is. Forgiveness for self and others is the key to acceptance for life and whatever it may bring. Transformation comes from acceptance, which sometimes takes forgiveness.

Harboring negative emotions about self and others breeds unhealthy thoughts and feelings, essentially hurting self.
We have all made what seem like mistakes, yet, they are only transgressions teaching us.
When one is hurt, it’s easy to hold onto pain. To self-protect a wall can go up, which locks into negative feelings. Shame, regret, anger, hatred, blame, inferiority, superiority and guilt are like blinders to self-love.

I understand, as a human, it can be much easier to stay upset in a hurtful situation and end up playing the martyr or victim. In doing so, one thinks to themselves.. “If I stay upset about this, I won’t get hurt again in the same way”. In actuality, when we stay upset it creates subconscious patterns that lock in on being upset. Therefore, it becomes much easier to manifest situations that create the SAME UPSET, again and again…. hence….
Patterns

Blocking access to love.

Resentment and anger justify being upset and caught in a “story”. I say story because we create stories with our perceptions, everyone has a different side.
Over time resentment festers and grows into ugly, nasty wounds that can take up inner peace, tranquility, ease and happiness, also causing unhealthy mental and emotional patterns about perceived “story”.
We don’t ever fully know what another person has gone through and why they do what they do, until we walk in their shoes, which is an impossible technology thus far, all we can do is empathize.

Rather that hold onto the hurt or upset, letting go, by forgiving is the most liberating feeling one can incur through trauma and hurt.

There is the thought that “If I forgive, it’s a sign of weakness.”
Quite the contrary, forgiveness is a sign of the absolute strongest, a sign of resilience and the practice of a master.

Have you ever hurt someone?
Have you ever been hurt by someone?

Do you have the inner resilience to let that go?

Forgive yourself
Forgive others…

And come into Empowerment.

Forgiveness Meditation

Taught by Marianne Williamson.

Sit quietly with yourself, breathing in light and love and on the exhale all negativity.
Envision you and the person you wish to forgive or ask forgiveness from.
Allow whatever emotions come up to surface, until you feel and understand your pain, or theirs.
Then see white light surrounding yourself and the person/people.
As you stand or sit connect a light to one another’s heart and visualize your individual lights growing to envelop one another, spreading farther in peace.
Speak, think, feel whatever you need to in order to come to clarity and happiness, letting go of any old stories or upset. If you can, thank the individual for being a part of your experience.
Envision whatever you may believe in surrounding the person in a love and light “temple” as you depart from one another.
Whenever you think of the person in painful thoughts or emotions, visualize this temple of light taking it all away into the forgiveness that you just created.

If you feel it is necessary, you can do more than once.

Power of The People

The power of the people is the power of humanity.

Believing in this power will be the solutions to our current tragedies and system.
WE are humanity, we are the people, it is up to us to break these chains of fear and separation within the whole of our race. The answers to our problems will be found in an understanding of the whole. Consciousness shall pervade, awareness is key, creating a new system causes the fall of the old paradigm.

This setup will not come from the current structure in place.

It will take a break from all the beliefs we have known throughout our lives. Questioning and undermining the collective conditions that are in place. Throwing that which does not serve humanity’s highest away in place of harmony, unity, love, acceptance, tolerance and building together.

Hard concept to grasp?

These are the tenets preached in most major religions, what has happened?

It is time to stand up for one another, fellow human. Unified in our common bond, we shall supersede this system that is leaving so many without hope, without love, without basic survival necessities. So many feel lack, loss and unhappiness, while the 1% is at the top, making billions off of our efforts, dirt and sweat.

The corporations and banks that run our world are concerned about monetary gain. Caring about the people that supports them is absent in our capitalistic and competitive system. With the hierarchy employee/employer dynamic, this triangular structure leaves each person below another disempowered.

When a man is found dead at his desk for five days, that is a symptom of our uncaring system.

In a world FOR the people, the corporations would give people say over the choices they make. Their aims would be for the highest good of the earth and humanity.
Such an easy concept, why isn’t it seen?

Here is a question I would like to ask.

How can we deal to another, what we would not want to be dealt?
While an easily forgotten question, being happy and placated here in our safe bubble of a world.
This bubble is quickly popping.

Treat one another the way we would like to be treated… sounds easy, look at the state our world is in. In the name of capital gain; greed, control, discipline, fear and ravaging our world are the tenets of this establishment.
We collectively treat others the way we would never desire to be treated. Whether it is working conditions that are appalling, to the many forms of discipline and punishment.

These are topics I will get into in much more detail down the road. For now, scratching the surface in question.

Discipline and punishment are archaic values in our system.
Discipline is a form of control, boxing in behavior to fit a societal mold. When that mold is not met, there are elements of judgement and punishment.
The fear of punishment and its many forms, including estrangement and rejection are factors in every human’s manner within this system.
We wonder why there are so many f-ed up things happening on our planet. The more this discipline is felt, the more people are retaliating within their personal lives and families.

Whether it is a woman being lashed for driving in Saudi Arabia, to a child being labeled ADD in an education system, to keeping up with the Jones’s in our American competition.
Discipline/punishment only perpetuates self-righteous thinking of “knowing best” for another. Essentially it disempowers self-sovereignty. While giving room to “correcting” what is “wrong”, creating abuse and punishment.

Our archaic competitive establishment will transform.  There are more peaceful ways to work through our issues.

How can we create a setup that provides and treats the whole?

It is time to heal our tragedies so that we can start working together.

Healing the whole calls for tolerance and allowing us to process what is lodged within our DNA and race for millenia, individually and collectively.

We say we want change. Changing the world starts within each one of us. Transforming our every interaction, thoughts, words and deeds towards our fellow human. Pushing through our barricades of ego and fear, into acceptance and love.

To create a society of self-fulfilled people. The aims being one’s personal derivation of creativity, love and happiness, whatever that individually means. Children, elders and everyone along the spectrum, being treated with honor, respect and appreciation.

Can you imagine a world such as this?

Oh Chicago

Oh Chicago,

I have a secret to impart in you.

Lighting me up within,

your splendid city has cast a beautiful spell upon me.

My adventuring soul has ventured to places far away and unknown.

Yet, as far away as I have roamed, I have an understanding that this incredible city is

My new Home.

While Chicago in many aspects is business oriented, there are intensely colorful and airy energies to this city.
Lifting my Spirit. Living directly across from Lincoln park with an amazing friend. I am astounded with the way life unfolds, blissfully inspired by daily adventures.

While I knew there was always a love between this auspicious city and I, my connection has become attuned to my amazing group of loved ones here.
This past weekend was infused with a 3 day birthday celebration with
friends new and old.

Conversing from quantum energetic levels, to old school rapping and dancing, there was a myriad of experiences that were quite astonishing.
Equilibrium within the spectrum, an alchemy of abundance was profoundly created.
My eccentric mind fits in perfectly within this equation.

After having been quite the hermit for most of the summer, my heart is vibrating intensely with the happiness and ease I have found here.
An outer reflection of what is within.

694 Wine Bar

It was the second time I attended a soiree in this space,
coming full circle.

One walks in to this wine and cheese bar and immediately feels welcome. Wood inlaid with a modern, minimal twist creates a classy yet comfortable environment.

One could sit at the downstairs bar and quietly hear what was being played upstairs, while enjoying an exquisite array of wines and cheese to suit one’s taste.

Or one could meander upstairs to the second floor bar and patio to connect with the dancing and music occurring on this particularly gorgeous day.

The staff and owner were warm, inviting and accommodating. Creating an ambience that

felt

so

cozy

Within this place a vibe of musical magic was created.

What I have realized is sometimes I have to fall,
in order to brush myself off,
take a deep breath,
own up
and stand tall.

as is life.

I Believe, Toronto

Maybe you’re too serious about it,

Life isn’t meant to be so serious, it’s meant to be light and fun…

Stop judging yourself and
let go into acceptance
happiness
love.

I was deliberating these thoughts on the train ride from Chicago to Detroit onto Toronto. A trip spontaneously spurred by my dad.
Planes, trains and automobiles have become my second home, and meditation is a form of ease on them.
When a 5 hour train ride turns into 8 hours,

There must be a purpose, I think to myself.

I have to apply that even when life is not what I desire,
when I feel like giving up on myself,
giving up on my dreams,
letting go of the passion,
not understanding.

I believe in myself.

I believe that there is a purpose to everything, in seeking out what is positive, one will always grow from it.

I believe that what happens easily, is meant to be.

I believe to give up control, in order to let in the flow.
The flow of least resistance.

I believe that love is the only truth, all else is an illusion.

I believe that thoughts, actions, words and deeds create our reality.
Individually and collectively.

I believe that we are only human, doing the best we can with what we know.

I believe that life is beautiful, in order to see we have to remember.

I believe that a certificate does not give one merit, character or wisdom.
Life does.

I believe that the spirit thrives in laughter, letting go and having fun.

The pride parade happened to be the same weekend while we were in Toronto. Walking through the crowd, I was elated to see different cultures coming together to celebrate this symbol of tolerance.

I believe that judgement is a barrier to love. Who is anybody to judge?

I believe that the ego is annihilated in remembering that we are one.

I believe that intolerance and judgement come from perspective. Every person thinks they are right in their perception.

I believe there is no such thing as mistakes, only learning and growth of self.

I believe that tolerance and acceptance are the antithesis to self-righteousness and judgement. If we were raised in a world that promoted these tenets collectively,
we would see more love.

I believe each heart holds the secret of inner truth. Cultivate the heart.

I believe that love, empathy and compassion are practices of the highest. Accepting self and others through faults, leads to success.

I believe letting go of expectations, will allow one to be in the present.

I had time to myself while on this trip. Staying at the Park Hyatt, I indulged at Stillwater Spa.
I received a manicure, pedicure and facial, the service was impeccable.
The sauna and steams imparted healing on my mind, body and heart.
A tranquil, peaceful place Stillwater helped me to uncover my inner beauty by polishing the outer.
I was absolutely thankful for this luxurious treatment.

I believe in pampering, and feeling like a queen

I believe that a healthy mind, body and spirit creates happiness and ease.

I believe that life is a contradiction, in the duality of reality lies humor

I believe that every person is intrinsically gifted, sometimes waiting for their inner light to be uncovered.

I believe that in facing one’s shadow, one can see the light.

My father and I were sitting outside at Creme Brasserie, eating a lovely, light and delicious meal.

We were having a life questioning discussion.

I asked him

“Dad, if there was one thing you could impart, what would it be?”

“I used to play the game, and the game was top priority. Over time I have realized that family is the most important, however and whatever that family may be.” He responded

“Could that apply to the family of humanity?” I asked

I believe that children are our future, teach them to love each other.

I believe in taking care of the earth for future generations, it’s the only earth we have.

Every person believes differently, in that there is a beauty.

I believe in you, and me, to create, love, be happy and free.

Life is done unto as you believe.

Nicole

Movement

Masters of our ceremonies,
make me dance,
make me move,
play the tune that my body sings to.
Music,
dance with me, speak to me,
until I can hardly breathe,
take all capacity of thought, emotion, and being,
until my being fills with you,

music

you are

my

muse.

MOVEMENT: Detroit’s Electronic Music Festival
A favorite of festivals, it brings in elements of Detroit’s energy, a grittiness and depth that can only be found in this city.
Our city….
of soul, dilapidation and creativity. Now a resurgence is happening and it’s so exciting.

Looking around, where thousands surround Detroit’s Hart Plaza. I am witness to the growth of what this movement has become since its start 12 years ago.

SONY DSC
There are 4 stages set up in the plaza, the speakers immense and encompassing, they vibrate sound powerfully.
Each stage holds its own micro-environment, bouncing from each, my ear tunes in to the music.

SONY DSC

This year, as I strolled down the stone steps to the massive stage set up in the center, my thoughts were of a disconnected nature.
In the past this scene was a huge part of my life, now a smaller piece of the whole of my existence.

“Will this do for me what it used to?”
I asked myself

“After all I have experienced, what does this mean to me now?”

Heavy, low bass rumbled through me, re-awakening my purpose within sound.
The air thick with rich, warm South American tones, reminiscent of where I traveled from.

SONY DSC
A musical healing, the vibrations touch on parts of me, becoming a dancing release.
My body was attached to the spot. As music and I remember one another as long-lost lovers. We meet and all that is spoken of is this intertwining love

Transporting me through space and time.

Boat

I was lead to incubation states of tranquility and centering in the Westin Book Cadillac hotel.
Here I cultivated familiar bonds I have made with people from all over the world, connecting through music.
I understand the musical groups I am drawn to have subtle ties to our roots.
Paxahau of Mayan origin literal meaning
Pax=power of music ; Ahau=cycle of time in Mayan calendar.

Movement is a primal instinct grounded within us, stemming back to the dawn of humanity. Our own dance rituals and sounds have evolved into something I know our ancestors would be proud of.

As I’m dancing on the grass, under the sunlight, a veteran in his army uniform strolls over.
“Your dancing makes me happy, seeing all of this love and peace reminds me that this is the freedom I fought for. Can you show me how to dance to this music?”
He asks

Feel it capitulate you
Move with it however you allow it to
An energetic exchange, infinity of ebb and flow.
A bridging of many worlds occurs,

music

Own The Goddess Within

After witnessing some hackling here in Panama City while I was walking down the street. I was feeling rather uncomfortable with the ways I was being whistled and hollered at. I remembered how prevalent prostitution was here, and how little respect women are given. It brought up some pondering around the idea of respect and boundaries and self-love.

There was once upon a time, a long, long time ago, when us women supported one another. Perhaps it’s time to unite and become the community of support that is needed from each other and our male counterparts. We are all products of a world that undermines the power of sexuality and the inner awareness and realms, especially being females. Grace and honor have become a lost art in the feminine form, especially our society. What is looked up to, portrayed through the media and our conditioning are cardboard cutouts masking as beautiful or sexy. Sexiness and beauty are far more than superficial looks. From the media and religions to popular opinion, we are given diametrically opposite views, neither of them healthy. No wonder we are so confused.

What would it look like to step back into that and honor the sacred feminine?
Relationships with one another transformed into nurturing, encouraging and supportive spaces. Through understanding that we are the backbone of our world, therefore it’s up to us to make that backbone strong, having integrity with how we treat ourselves and one another.

Male-Female-Balance

Being in our essence is our most beautiful expression. Unlike what we are lead to believe, it is not only a surface experience. When the inner is polished the light and beauty will naturally exude.

It’s important for us to set boundaries for self and stop being martyrs for inner happiness, sacrificing in the name of others. We worry and wonder why we can’t make our men happy. Guys are looking for love and appreciation as are we. It’s just a different manner than ours. No need to worry, just be and let your radiance, mind and inner light speak for you. Give love without the aim to please and concede, allow it to be from the deep self love that shines from within, relinquishing the martyrdom and cost of oneself. Naturally your life and people around you will be happy to see you shining, and if they don’t they’re not worthy to be in your close circle.

If you don’t fully love yourself, step away from a relationship until you do. Become strong in your resolve, find out what makes you happy, what makes you tick, independently become the power source for yourself.

Pitch all behavior that demeans you.
If the person you are with is not honoring, appreciating or allowing your powerful presence to shine forth,
Then dump him (or her), you deserve better.

If your actions are those that would hurt another and you have to hide it, is it really something that should be done?

Is it worth it?

Who cares about the stuff and fluff if you aren’t being treated right?

Who cares about the talk and dreams if you aren’t being loved properly?

If there are friends who don’t respect you, don’t encourage your highest, don’t promote your growth, don’t have your back, perhaps get jealous and retaliate are they truly friends?

goddess

Take a stand in your life for what you deserve.

And if no one has ever told you this, I will.

You are beautiful, you are amazing, you deserve nothing but the most exquisite in life. You can do anything you put your mind to, it is within you to be the most radiant you can be.

Speak your truth, be present to yourself and emanate your radiance.
Allow yourself to be treated like the Goddess you are, uphold yourself with grace, honor and respect, knowing that you deserve nothing less.

When we we have integrity with who we are, how we treat ourselves and one another,  upholding standards of how we deserve to be treated in relationships, we will set new standards that will be met by our guys.
We are the yin to their yang, once we make the shift, they will naturally evolve along with us.

I will post shortly about my amazing adventures here in Panama City.

xo,
Nicole

Own the King Within

Men and boys,

I’d like to let you in on some secrets…..

Us girls or women, we are simpler than you think.
Trust me.
It may seem that we are complicated. Yet, that is only the exterior to a depth and power that resides in each of us.
All we truly need is a proper environment in order to flourish into our greatest potential.

The you that we love is the vulnerable space of connecting deeply and allowing us to feel safe. This allows us to have a space in order to let go within.

TRUST

I know that your status may seem impressive, we may seem like we want the money, the cars, the house.

Those are side notes to what we really want.

We want you to be a lover, companion, staple, one that we can trust through thick and thin.

One who will be there for us, be honest, respect and honor us.

No matter what.

So, along the spectrum, there are two ways you can be with us.

A supportive, encouraging, loving space where we can grow into our finest and most beautiful, a space that we feel comfortable to surrender into, you being our counterpart and balance.

Building us up.

Or you can view us as a pain in the ass, piece of ass, crazy, stupid, bitchy and we will be nothing more than that.

Breaking us down….

Men, there is an element of dominance that you can sometimes display, which over time becomes controlling your woman, not wanting her to be attractive to other men, keeping her caged in. That diminishes our inner happiness.
Criticize, condemn and control us and guess what will happen? Like a beautiful caged bird we will lose our luster, beauty and ability to soar.

It breaks our spirit.

You see that when you control or are mean to us, it’s only your fear and insecurity shining through to us. And we know that.

We are the backbone to the world, and within societies around the planet we are viewed in a demeaning, diminutive or degraded way. Ways that keep our true natures enclosed behind these worldly mindsets.

We are not these cardboard cutouts you see in the media, no, rather we are

Much more

Let go of your ideas of what you think a woman is instead allow each of us individually show you the amazing creatures we are.

And love us through it.

Let us be whatever comes through,

And love us through it.

Be a place we can let go into, so we can learn to trust you. Show us how you want us for more than the surface, for more than the physical.
Show us integrity and honor in your approach to us.

We want to surrender to you into a space of what will support us on all levels.

We want to give you our hearts and sometimes self protect waiting for you to hurt us.

To be honest, there is much hurt between us sexes, whether or not we acknowledge it.
We are in a vicious cycle with one another, one of domination, control, mis-trust, anger and fear.

It has been going for thousands of years.

Drop the swords boys and girls, time to become men and women.
We are all wounded in some manner, let’s love each other through our wounds and learn how to recreate our roles into ones of reciprocal love, support and encouragement.

How can we shift that together and learn to really be able to trust that we have the best intentions for one another?

We women understand, in order for you to grow into your fullest man-potential,
you need love, support and encouragement.

Perhaps we don’t give it to you the way you need it.
Instead we come off as nagging, complaining, bitchy or demanding
I understand.

Underneath that, we are loving and considerate, we care about you and your needs. Please remember that.

We also have to feel good about ourselves in order to properly give you the best love. That takes making us feel good about ourselves, talking to and treating us as though we are spectacular, amazing.

Proper communication is so important. Listening to us and our rants can sometimes be the answer to our issues, we know that you like to solve our problems but sometimes we just really need you to listen.

Show us, tell us, inform us how to be our best for you and we will do the same.

Let go of assuming to know

and

ASK US

what we think
how we feel
what we want
what pleases us (yes sexually too ; )

no
we are not all the same, in our individuality is where our true beauty lies.

While a comfortable life is great, what is it without proper love?

It’s about love, love, love.

You are so very loved.

Treat us like Goddesses, in return we will treat you as the Kings you are.

Nicole

Come Together

It is time for us to remove the veil surrounding us,
for us to come together as one
see past the races,
past the gender,
past the social standing,
past everything.

I think about the next few generations, and question the survival of our species.
In order for humanity to survive, we have to come together in a place of love, acceptance and tolerance.

I guarantee you can find a common bond with every human on this planet, regardless of culture, class, race, creed.
I am you, and you are me, we are everybody.
So the question I’d like to pose is, there are obviously differences,
do we judge or honor those, and celebrate the similarities?
What does that take?

There is a mentality of intolerance that breeds superiority, I know it well from my firsthand being in it. It causes separation, and separation is the antithesis to real change.
I love humanity, I love every person, or try to, I don’t care who you are.
We may not agree, or have the same opinions, but I honor each and every person on this planet for the path they are walking.
It may not be mine, but that doesn’t make it any more or less.

It just is.

the differences are our uniqueness, and without that we would all be the same, so instead of turning away from one another and judging what is not the same, its time to love and celebrate the common bond we do share, which is being human, living on this earth, and being the guardians of her.
NOW is the time, the time for action,
the true age of Aquarian.

We are a species, just like any other species, we all have our purposes within the “packs”, as we have migrated we have evolved to look different, but we are essentially the same.
A group, which has been difficult for me to wrap my head around, with how anti group I can be at times.

I am part of a group, many groups and I respect what I have learned from all of them.
When one thinks in a group mentality there comes a point where everyone is thinking for the whole, which is a beautiful concept.
Truly caring, loving and looking out for one another.
Its like thinking of the whole of humanity as one mass, and when one of us is broken or hurt, all of us are.

The allopathic approach Is symbolic of our way of being in the world, that somehow the rest of the world isn’t affected by us, or we aren’t affected by them.
Allopathic thinking, which can cause major stress on the whole, similar to a human body having a cancer cell, it will spread and take over if not healed properly.
It seems like we all are trying to heal a “broken finger” not realizing that the cause is the starvation in Somalia, the people who are hurting over there.
If you look at us as one pod of being, then many issues would cease to exist, because when someone else is hurt it directly affects you, or me.

Whether or not I am consciously aware of it.
With that idea, taking responsibility for everyone will create the change that is needed within our world.

Thinking, it’s not up to me what is happening in our world……
I am here safe in my space,
is a lie.

So it goes for all of us, we directly, or indirectly affect one another and the world, everything we do, think, say and feel goes in to the web that is currently creating our reality.
My way of helping our web of human consciousness is thinking positively, which isn’t easy all the time, sending love vibes out, and also loving myself, and working towards honoring everyone’s individuality.

How to think in a we mentality?
It would help the whole, not that everyone has to be, but it would be nice if every human had their basic needs met, and did not have to worry about survival. We have reached a point in the evolution of our species that it is feasible.

We live in a country that has an abundant food supply constantly being shipped in from all over the world, and there are still people in our own country who die of starvation?
not to mention the more impoverished countries.

There is a mentality of
“someone else will take care of it, it’s not my responsibility”
Look where that kind of thinking has gotten us and our current state of existence on this planet.
I think its time to take responsibility, own up and care about each other, the planet, ourselves.
collective consciousness yo.
It’s the whole of humanity, forget about what religion, sex, class, gender,or age one is.
Look through the eyes of the higher plane and see that we are

one species, one earth, connected to one another, whether or not you like it….

Lets stand up for humanity and be empowered as a WHOLE.
Lets turn towards one another, instead of away.
Lets let one another know how much we care,
Lets make a difference in each others lives.

It doesn’t have to be at the level of changing the world per se, but changing the way we perceive the world,
seeing and bringing our individual gifts and light.
Now is the time.
