My Underworld

A cycle has completed, its finality brings with it complexity and understanding of my dark and light nature. The illustrious owl perched at my side, illuminating shadows to see more clearly.

This time period was a lifetime of its own.

On New Year’s 2007,the Owl appeared, with his yellow, penetrating eyes, beckoning me to view the inner depths I was seeking.
“Be Careful” were his wise words to me as I plunged into the depths of my deep and murky underworld.

Nothing could hide from his intense stare as we traveled the river Styx in search of all the ghosts and demons that were lurking.

This world was fraught with seduction and temptation. A place where phantasmorphic figures rose as distorted illusions that seemed oh, so, real. I would gaze around this illusory world to phantoms represented by societal perceptions as well as my own ideas, ones I held as superficial truths of who and what I was.

No longer

My truths became highlighted as inner workings of subconscious patterns were revealed. Deeply imbedded cycles within me, family and society came to my waking mind. Bringing the information back to the conscious surface, I would then be strengthened with the knowledge of what I had accrued.

“Trust Yourself”

This thought was my anchor, even when I couldn’t fathom understanding it.

Many experiences over these years were bright, light and love-filled, giving me a point of reference to base my truth upon. Receiving glimpses of an enlightened state, I would come back to the reality of patterns instilled within me and humanity. Disheartening and downright suffocating at times, haunting and deliberating moments of facing shadows of myself and others.
Occurrences and people were a mirror to shadows of mine, realized over the past 6 years. My subconscious would attract what I needed to see to be freed of my inner limitations and illusions. Coming up for a breath, I would have complete epiphanies, my world would shift around them to witness the glory of an awareness far beyond my consciousness.
Witnessing the beauty of who I was uncovering; the real me.

The depths while murky held rapture within themselves, a shroud that when the light shone in became illuminated strength.

Giving gratitude the whole time as I knew that when experiencing pain it was my epoch of strengthening.

The owl made its presence known again 3 years later, while I was immersed in a world of soul seeking and a vision quest. It’s wing almost brushing my cheek, I thanked it for showing its presence so visibly. Just when I thought I was complete with this underworld, after a lapse of time I heard the owl whisper in my ear.

“Go Deeper”

Through the years I dove farther into the swampy muck of personal and collective patterns. My purpose to cut free karma from myself and the underbelly of our reality, that which no longer serves me and those surrounding me.
Being sucked into the depths, like a puzzle, I began to make sense of the patterns displayed.

hadesunderworld_painting

Morphing and shifting, these ghosts of patterns would show up around different turns. Tempting me with their ideas, sucking me into their spheres, giving access to what they deemed important. With the power of who I was, it was my choice to feed them or watch as they vanished from my existence with the upsurge of inner realizations.
My scythe was love, acceptance and surrendering. I would cut them free and remind myself, with the owl perched on my shoulder…..

“Remember who you are, that is your unshakeable force. No matter who or what any person says, you are you and that space will never be forsaken. For that is your individual essence in this multifarious existence”

It was only an illusion.
That is not real,

To me.

As though they never were in the first place, these ghosts of disillusionments caused by conditioning to deep extents would all but vanish from my perception. Like phantoms of the past they became nothing more than distant memories.

Overwhelming at times, with the seductions and temptation of focusing on ideas, emotions, experiences, thoughts and conditions that I knew deep down were not my highest truth.

Ultimately; The illusions of Ego.

The presence of the owl has made itself known again, this time letting me know this cycle is through. Surfacing, I have an understanding of who I am.
My underworld traversed, ghosts released with intentions and motives that mirrored these old parts of me witnessed to their extinction.
I have come out of the other side of Hades, awakened and aware, knowing and clear.

The realization of the illusion has penetrated my waking mind. In that there is a part of me laughing, this game of life has become quite easy.
I know that only empowerment, positivity and love will come from this, with strength, knowing and trust in myself. The ways in which I gave my inner power away into illusions are now in place of inner empowerment, feeding me and those around me with the goodness of life.

For it was my choice what I fed all along.

I understand this as part of my Kundalini’s journey.
A process aligning my subconscious, conscious and superconscious.
My filters and experience reconditioned to bring me insight into myself and others. And that to me, is the most enlightened I can become; right now.

All is of my choosing and I take full responsibility for what I think, do, speak and experience. I am no longer victim, martyr, scapegoat or any of the other roles I may have created from these murky patterns that have been freed.

I am at a clear slate, where any and everything can be created. It is up to me what I feed, love and focus on, give to and create.
With consciousness comes the great responsibility to BE, as we were all created to BE.

Over time aware of the awareness behind thinking, the all-pervasive existence that just is.

Questioning from this place when thinking,

Are you fear or love based and do you serve my highest?

This is where questioning the ego comes full circle.

Is it ego questioning ego?

Or is there a higher intelligent consciousness in place?

Yes, the dark will fall, and in its place is illuminated grace.

Whoever said it was a quick process to become awakened to our inner enlightenment?

Of course, the detailed experiences will be lit up in my book….. 😉

Empathic Repatterning

Re-Patterning takes the form of releasing the shadows of self, so that the light can shine through. Opening up a can of caterpillars so that they can transform into butterflies. I believe this is one of the greatest dis-ease antidotes, as the physical body is the last place illness manifests. Studies show that re-patterning can actually shift DNA. I wish to share a snippet of my process through it with you.
While I try to refrain from labeling, for I am much more than any label, I call myself an empath, for you to gain more understanding of what I am explaining.

My body always lets me know everything that is going on, it never lies to me and I trust it explicitly. My body lets me know through intuitive feelings what is best for me, these feelings also let me know when things are positive or negative for the future or beyond. I know from my experience that my thoughts have their own frequency and resonate at different levels. Being empathic, I am able to feel exactly where my body holds every thought and feeling. The positive ones feel light and expansive, the negative ones feel like pin pricks or bullets. I don’t always understand all my empathic responses, I only know when they are released I feel amazing. When I have worked through a pattern, there is a clear feeling in my heart, stomach, back, neck or wherever I was having empathic residue.
Many of the feelings in my body are not necessarily mine, as an Empath, I take on for others what they wish to heal and sometimes cannot do themselves. Also called a lightworker, I take other’s hurt, fear, anger, insecurity, agony on to be transmuted. Without the proper release these wounds (Ment. Phys. Emot. Spir.) of others sometimes become lodged patterns within me.

My re-patterning process entails sitting in meditation. I then focus on any negative thoughts or feelings in my body and listen closely. Then something will surface, almost as though a whisper. Instead of shrugging off what I hear, which my ego wants to do, I let it come up and be heard. I will receive a memory or flash of understanding tied to a feeling and pattern of energy. Sometimes when the feeling is mine, it’s a limiting thought pattern, a belief I had held onto about myself or the world, such as “I don’t know how” or ” I don’t care”. While my conscious mind does not believe what is presented, my subconscious mind may be manifesting situations based upon these old belief patterns. After acknowledging and feeling these patterns of mine and sometimes others, I then accept, embrace and surrender them to the moment. Like little bubbles, these patterns expand and pop into the quantum field of awareness. When it is someone else’s energy lodged within me, I’ll usually get a glimpse of that person, hear their voice, or feel their presence as I release their energy. There have been times, before I knew that I was an empath that I would get very sick and not know how to release the energy. Knowledge of energetic frequencies and my own personal boundaries has allowed me to stay grounded and learn how to process for the benefit of me and the person I’m healing

I then go within and re-pattern with a belief I hold true for myself, or send love and light to it, if it is for someone else. This process includes monitoring of my thoughts and emotions, to constantly reinstate an evolving belief system.

After re-patterning I am in a place of higher consciousness, with awareness of the interconnectedness of everything. It’s in this place that my ego dissolves and I remember all the triviality that can seem important DOES NOT MATTER.
Stillness, silence, reflection;
Space and time slip away into a place of non-duality, where positive and negative become non-existent.
Everything just is.
Awareness behind awareness, I am a little speck glimpsing it.

All that exists is knowing, a knowing far beyond me, yet a part of me. A place of infinite love and intelligence, which is where I find my Divinity.

Attaining a broader perspective within this consciousness is what drives me to be. It takes for me to remember and bring this awareness into every aspect of my life, I aim to see it reflected in every part of every moment.
The glimpse of it can almost always be seen.

There are many ways to attain this state, every religion, philosophical and spiritual discipline have their forms, the techniques may be different, yet the place of existence remains the same. In the many attempts to gain higher consciousness the one truth is, only within is where it is found.

I am who I am constantly creating myself to be.

Cosmic Charge, Baby

Oh sun, sun, sun…
I have a love affair with the sun. We are long lost lovers and when we unite, it illuminates me inside and out. I long for its warm embrace in the cold, dark winter days. Now that it is warming up, I yet again feel lit up…

The sun is our essence, where we on this little planet have arisen from. The life force of our infinitesimally small solar system in a complex, transfinite universe.

This force has been studied by some of the greatest scientists, including two of my personal favorites Nikola Tesla and Dr. William Reich.
Nikola Tesla created a device entitled a Cosmic Ray Motor to harness free sun energy in the early 1900’s, stating that “This new power for the driving of the world’s machinery will be derived from the energy which operates the universe, the cosmic energy, whose central source for the earth is the sun and which is everywhere present in unlimited quantities.”

I will tell you from my personal experience, in balanced doses, the sun is one of my favorite medicines. It heals on atomic to energetic levels and everything in between.

A balance with this beautiful source can strengthen us all in our life force.
Like a battery charge, it wakes us up to awareness, if we wish to fill up on it.

“What you eat, what you drink, who you interact with, thoughts, emotions, perceptions (where you are in your consciousness), builds or diminishes your Ka. Deliberately accelerating this pranic body, ascends your physical body, and in turn ascends your consciousness.”- ZaKaiRan

Prana is life force, the force behind our own force, that which comes from the sun, surrounding us and all living things. Also known as orgone, chi, ether, tachyon, addressed in ancient to modern theories worldwide it’s said to be consciousness in and of itself. The Ka body is known as our light body, or etheric double, that the prana life force fills up, we can gain this charge through cosmic sources.
According to Dr. William Reich, orgone is scientifically measured and found in high amounts in more alive, natural settings and living food sources. It’s this source that is absolute healing for our bodies, Dr. Reich created ways to harness this for health.

Laying out nude in balanced doses and letting the sun shine where the sun doesn’t shine is good for the body! If, of course you are able to find the privacy to do so, 15 minutes on each side is ideal. If not even letting it shine on your face, or arms for a bit helps vitamin D production.
To charge, visualize the sun lighting up all parts of your atomic structure with light, sending it to your energetic bodies as well.
Happy Spring Equinox!!!!
If the sun is out, Illuminate yourself!

Express Yourself

As I read the article I have a link to below, about 90 Iraqi students being stoned to death for their expression, my heart hurts. It pangs me in a way of sadness and realization that basic human liberties are constantly at stake in our world. As far as we have come up the evolutionary ladder, there are atrocities that occur that face us all with our primal, controlled and conditioned natures.

This is not just “over there”, albeit different, it’s very present “over here”.

Many major religions state that there are certain ways that are accepted and others that are not. I understand the guidance point of not hurting another and living a life that helps others. Yet, how can it be that there are billions of variations of humans and only one way of worship is accepted by God/ Allah/Jesus/Jehovah whatever you want to name the force of the universe?

If we were all meant to think and be one way, wouldn’t this God just make us all the same?
God is not conditional, humans are.
There is the question of free will I’d like to pose….
Is there free will or is our will based upon an integral nature created from biology, sociology, psychology, genetics and education?

It’s easy to judge those who are different. As humans we have all felt that type of rejection at some point in our lives, while casting that judgement upon another at some point as well.

This rejection, or rather avoidance of rejection is what causes mass conformity. By feeling that we have to be/act/speak a certain way to feel accepted and liked.

Who doesn’t want to be accepted and liked?

Can we guide one another more lovingly into a mindset that empowers us all?

With this underlying biological and psychological need to feel accepted as part of the group, expression can become what one thinks will be accepted, in the process one’s free expression can become curtailed.

THE BOX

We are all expected to be a part of a box on some level, to take part within group thinking. These boxes can be seen according to gender, religion, culture, class, age, race, profession, etc. and are deemed by what is socially accepted and what’s not. When what’s not accepted occurs, labels are placed to then categorize into yet again another box, or outside the box.

A paradox.

How come ideas, thoughts, actions that are not part of mainstream are sometimes rejected and boxed out, to then be accepted in the future?

I am not one thing, nor can my beingness be explained by any one categorization, can yours?

If we let other’s judgement infiltrate our existence, we’ll never feel free to

express ourselves

Free expression is essentially creativity and imagination at work. In an ideal society, judgement of free expression would be obsolete if not harming anybody.
Acceptance of another’s expression negates control, fear of differences, group conformity, gossip and negative backlash. Which is what we sometimes witness when one is different or challenging traditions and the system.

When we think about those who have challenged throughout the millenias from Jesus to Aristotle, Plato, to Newton, Tesla and Einstein, can it not be said that our race has benefitted from questioning and expressing outside the norm?
Do you think technology would be available if we all thought and acted the same?

Break out of your box : )
In connecting with another’s expression and perception we learn. If your expression is outside of the norm, who cares?
It may inspire another to express a part of themselves that was previously hidden.
Express Yourself, whatever it may be, I accept you.

What is your free expression?

90 Students in Iraq Stoned

Acid vs. Alkaline

“According to the research of Dr. Enderlein, total healing of chronic illness only takes place when and if the blood is restored to a normal, slightly alkaline pH. In case you missed it, let me say it again…

Total healing of chronic illness only takes place when and if the blood is restored to a normal, slightly alkaline pH.”

The American diet, is to say the least, overly acidic and completely imbalanced. The rapid rate that heart disease, diabetes, cancer and illness have overcome our nation makes one ponder the effects our foods are having on us. The U.S. is one of the unhealthiest and obese first world countries.
The rise in food commercialism leads to profit over value, leaving us with extremely acid forming and cheaply manufactured foods. These include refined foods and sugars, MSG, fast food, aspartame, trans fats and white breads.

A healthy body is slightly alkaline with the blood measuring approximately 7.4, this level means it’s just slightly more alkaline than acid. Given our culture and diet, many people are not eating enough fresh alkaline vegetables and fatty acids necessary to balance internal PH levels.

Balancing the PH levels heals all parts of the body. It gives the body a chance to restore and aid the cells and systems in a proper manner, leading to more longevity and prevention. It also allows the body to properly assimilate vitamins and nutrients from food sources, naturally giving the body what it needs.

Taken from Health News:

Effects of Acidity on the body are:

-Tumour cells thrive
-Decreases ability to absorb minerals and other nutrients
-Decreasess the energy production in the cells
-Decreases ability to repair damaged cells
-Decreases ability to detoxify heavy metals
-Susceptibility to fatigue and illness

An acidic pH has many factors including an acid forming diet, stress, emotional and mental issues and toxicity from environment. Drugs and food, immune reactions, or any process depriving the cells of oxygen and other nutrients. The body will try to compensate for acidic pH by using alkaline minerals. If the diet does not contain enough minerals to compensate, a build up of acids in the cells will occur.

“There are two factors that are ALWAYS present with cancer no matter what else may be present. Those two factors are acid pH and lack of Oxygen. Can we manipulate those two factors that always have to be present for cancer to develop and by doing so will that help reverse the cancer? If so, we need to learn how to manipulate those two factors.”

Cancer, as stated in Dr. Simoncini’s research is a fungus and correlates to Candida and other acidic, yeast and fungus related issues. Candida and oxygenating are topics I’ll elaborate on in more detail.
For now, a balance of alkalinity with foods and water is the antidote for many of our health related issues in our overly acidic, quick-fix culture.

Like most theories this is up for debate, the other side states that the body naturally regulates PH. Yet, we are in a new era, to say our bodies are naturally able to regulate PH is somewhat controversial given what our environment and food sources now consist of.
With that being said, try out some alkaline antidotes, do an experiment with yourself by balancing your PH to see how you feel.

Taking this a bit further…

Is happiness tied into PH levels?

Dr. Young states that thoughts and emotions are the most powerful force to create alkalinity and healing for the body.
Acidity= negative
Alkaline= positive

Negative thoughts are acid forming and positive thoughts are alkaline forming. Mind over matter, thinking positively can alter your PH levels.

To test your PH level you can purchase PH strips at any health food store.

Salivary pH Test: Saliva is more acidic than blood, a good indicator of the state of the body and the fluids. The optimal pH for saliva is 6.4 to 6.8. When you awake, spit before anything is put into the mouth. Two hours after eating, on testing the saliva pH should rise to 7.8 or higher. If not it is indicative of alkaline mineral deficiencies (mainly Calcium and Magnesium).
Taking Magnesium as a supplement can boost alkaline levels.

“Urinary pH Test: The pH of the urine indicates how the body is working to maintain the proper pH of the blood. The urine reveals the alkaline building (anabolic) and acid tearing down (catabolic) cycles. The pH of urine indicates the efforts of the body via the kidneys, adrenals, lungs and gonads to regulate pH through the buffer salts and hormones. Urine can provide a fairly accurate picture of body chemistry, because the kidneys filter out the buffer salts of pH regulation and provide values based on what the body is eliminating. Urine pH can vary from around 4.5 to 9.0 for its extremes, but the ideal range is 5.8 to 6.8.”

Alkalizing remedies

Here are a few water recipes that help me become alkaline quickly. Since alcohol is highly acidic, these are also great hangover remedies.

1/4 tspn or more of aluminum free Baking soda, 1/4 tspn sea salt and 1 Liter of spring or distilled water. Refrain from tap water even filtered, if possible.

Lemons turns alkaline once in the body: 1/2 Lemon or more in 1 Liter of Water
You can also super alkalize with 1/2 lemon and 1/2 tspn baking soda in 1 liter of Water.

Dr. Simoncini states that sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and water is super alkalizing and healing.

Alkaline/Fluoride Cleanse:

I was skeptical about using Borax (Boron) for the first time when I developed a spot of Rosacea, nothing worked for it until I used a paste I made with Borax. After more thorough research into this naturally occurring compound, I made my first drink with it, adding a pinch in a liter of water. This lead to not only ridding the spot of Rosacea, I also noticed increased clarity of thoughts, more focus and energy.
Be forewarned, when doing a fluoride cleanse the first time you may experience headaches and nausea. Drink this for no longer than 3 days at a time with a few days off in between:

PLEASE BE ADVISED TO DO AT YOUR OWN RISK

1/8 tspn of Borax (20 Mule Team) 1/4 tspn of Baking Soda (aluminum free) and 1/4 tspn of Sea Salt (Iodized preferably) in 1.5 Liters of spring, distilled or ionized water.

Alkaline/ Acidic Foods

The ideal balance is a 70/30 ratio of alkaline foods to acidic foods.
This list is to give you awareness so that an appropriate balance can maximize your health.

Sprouts are extremely alkaline and sprouting vegetables and beans is highly recommended. Eating fermented foods such as Kim Chee, Sauerkraut, Kombucha and the likes help to add healthy flora to the digestive track.

Forgive

After months of feeling confused and unsure of my choices and path, like a veil lifting from my perception, a sense of clarity, positivity and happiness has encompassed me this past week.

I forgive, yes, forgive myself and others for any transgressions. Realizing that all is part of my learning.

and then let go,

fully…

Little resentment balloons pop and I come to ease and peace within, forgiveness is the ultimate emotional cleanser.

A part of Self-love is forgiveness, for self and others.

In holding resentment, one can be held back from the present and truly living. Resisting is futile, what is, is. Forgiveness for self and others is the key to acceptance for life and whatever it may bring. Transformation comes from acceptance, which sometimes takes forgiveness.

Harboring negative emotions about self and others breeds unhealthy thoughts and feelings, essentially hurting self.
We have all made what seem like mistakes, yet, they are only transgressions teaching us.
When one is hurt, it’s easy to hold onto pain. To self-protect a wall can go up, which locks into negative feelings. Shame, regret, anger, hatred, blame, inferiority, superiority and guilt are like blinders to self-love.

I understand, as a human, it can be much easier to stay upset in a hurtful situation and end up playing the martyr or victim. In doing so, one thinks to themselves.. “If I stay upset about this, I won’t get hurt again in the same way”. In actuality, when we stay upset it creates subconscious patterns that lock in on being upset. Therefore, it becomes much easier to manifest situations that create the SAME UPSET, again and again…. hence….
Patterns

Blocking access to love.

Resentment and anger justify being upset and caught in a “story”. I say story because we create stories with our perceptions, everyone has a different side.
Over time resentment festers and grows into ugly, nasty wounds that can take up inner peace, tranquility, ease and happiness, also causing unhealthy mental and emotional patterns about perceived “story”.
We don’t ever fully know what another person has gone through and why they do what they do, until we walk in their shoes, which is an impossible technology thus far, all we can do is empathize.

Rather that hold onto the hurt or upset, letting go, by forgiving is the most liberating feeling one can incur through trauma and hurt.

There is the thought that “If I forgive, it’s a sign of weakness.”
Quite the contrary, forgiveness is a sign of the absolute strongest, a sign of resilience and the practice of a master.

Have you ever hurt someone?
Have you ever been hurt by someone?

Do you have the inner resilience to let that go?

Forgive yourself
Forgive others…

And come into Empowerment.

Forgiveness Meditation

Taught by Marianne Williamson.

Sit quietly with yourself, breathing in light and love and on the exhale all negativity.
Envision you and the person you wish to forgive or ask forgiveness from.
Allow whatever emotions come up to surface, until you feel and understand your pain, or theirs.
Then see white light surrounding yourself and the person/people.
As you stand or sit connect a light to one another’s heart and visualize your individual lights growing to envelop one another, spreading farther in peace.
Speak, think, feel whatever you need to in order to come to clarity and happiness, letting go of any old stories or upset. If you can, thank the individual for being a part of your experience.
Envision whatever you may believe in surrounding the person in a love and light “temple” as you depart from one another.
Whenever you think of the person in painful thoughts or emotions, visualize this temple of light taking it all away into the forgiveness that you just created.

If you feel it is necessary, you can do more than once.

Nicole

Repatterning

No one is flawless, we are not machines, we are organic, living beings with unique idiosyncracies. In flaws a perfection is found, a rhythm that connects us all.
Like the seasons, we all have our deaths and rebirths of self.

To look a pattern as a tool to learn from can leave one empowered, re-patterning is one of the most beautiful processes of transformation.

It is said that the worst will happen before a pattern shifts, weeding the constucts that have created it, a witnessing before release.
If you can’t see patterns and self-actualize, how can you shift and create what is desired?

As humans we are naturally attracted to what is comfortable, an old pattern. When they are overgrown perceptions that no longer hold true, they can be debilitating, like a trap holding us in irrelevant thoughts and feelings.

Perspective comes from emotional, mental and physical contructs of how we have perceived our reality. Our experiences create our perceptions, becoming beliefs of self and world.

We have all done things that are not always representative of what we truly want to do and be, the process of self-actualization is becoming aware of these patterns. When experiences that are not liked happen over and over, it means there is something to acknowledge.
Changing a pattern means altering behavior, thoughts and feelings to suit the vision of what is desired. This can occur by going within and seeing what is behind a pattern. Digging into the deeper thoughts and emotions within self.

Sometimes jugdement of self is greater than judgement of anything.

Blame, shame and guilt go hand in hand, from dogmatic conditioning. Through fear of failure or making a mistake, many overcompensate by finding what is wrong and blaming the outer world. In having to be right a judgement frame of reference is created, inhibiting true freedom.
Holding onto shame, blame and guilt will not lend to transformation.
Many think one perspective and way of being is better than another. This is a lack of empathy for the whole picture. Look at our world, and the many levels this is played out on, from the micro units of family, to the macro of countries and religions.
Having to be right is tied into our competitive drive for success, it can become disempowering because one is right and one is wrong, equating to a feeling of failing.

Am I right? 😉

Fear of failure boils down to not wanting to look bad by peer/work/social/family group. Looking bad means making a mistake, being wrong, not feeling accepted for one’s choices, estrangement, rejection, or the root….

Not feeling loved.

Caring what others think is a natural and biological part of being human. It’s a genetic pattern to protect us from being alone, to cooperate in group, healthy to a certain extent. When too much emphasis is placed on caring what others think, the inner world and self confidence can be squelched.
When we expect ourselves, our lives and others to meet expectations and they’re not, the result can be a myriad of negative emotions ie. disappointment, anger, sadness, fear, alienation, etc..

Take disappointment and become empowered. Shift anger into motivation. Take shame and guilt and turn it into objective observation of self.
Thought

“OK, I see this, and I wish for something different…..”
Intend it into existence.

Acceptance first has to start within.
Trust and let go of any guilt or shame that you are doing something incorrectly. For you are absolutely perfect right now, in this moment, exactly what is meant to be.

Repatterning

It takes 21 days to change a pattern.

I have seen many of my own patterns surface lately, parts of me that are not always what I like, nor desire. I view these patterns as something to learn through. Life is a choice, to be a victim to self and circumstances, or re-create the shift that is needed. Re-patterning is a part of my self-actualization.

Gathering my energies, I will sit in meditation twice a day. I feel what I wish to shift, appreciate, and surrender any negative thought and emotional pattern surrounding it.

This is a conscious monitoring of everything I think, speak and feel. With effort and patience, I hold my vision firmly, positively, and feel good about life. Not allowing myself to be distracted by what is not working, instead loving what is. Affirmations lend to this, I come up with them as I go along, usually the opposite of what I don’t want.

This is a game I am creating to see what will happen after 21 days. If you wish you can do your own re-patterning with me from home. See what comes up for you, what you wish, visualize and feel it into your life.
You can share if you’d like.

Vitamins, Minerals and Remedies

Due to many inquiries into remedies, vitamins and minerals as of late, I am again compiling and recycling information that I posted before. Of course, this is only scratching the surface of information that is very complex. These remedies, supplements and vitamins are crucial to a healthy state of being for me, especially during the winter, I notice a dramatic improvement in the way I am feeling from taking.

Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

The benefits of this cure-all range from weight loss, arthritis, cholesterol, skin disorders, sinuses, anti-aging, and so MUCH more.
2 tlbsns Taken with 8 oz of water is also an incredible detox and preventative for the body. Can be used in dressings and for baths, and foods. Can also be used as an astringent, clearing skin, tightening pores, while giving a more pronounced glow.
If purchased, make sure it is RAW, meaning that “the mother” (probiotics) are present.

Algae

These are all “Brain Foods”

Cyanobacteria (Blue Green Algae) is the oldest life form on Earth. It is one of the most nutrient dense sources containing minerals, vitamins, probiotics, enzymes, B12 and chlorophyll.

Chlorella is an immune system booster, aiding in the treatment of many symptoms. It assists in the chelation process of removing heavy metals from the cells and body.

Spirulina is a freshwater algae that contains vitamins, minerals and high protein. It aids in the regeneration of brain cells. Since I have taken on a daily basis, my memory has improved drastically.

coconuts

Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

An antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-fungal. EVCO contains Caprylic and Lauric acids, assisting the body in warding off disease, virus and stress.
Helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels, increased immunity, proper digestion and metabolism, while also aiding in thyroid production. Helps to regulate digestion, and provide long-lasting energy.
I take 3 Tblspn daily. If ingesting for the first time, start off with 1 tlbsn/ day, building up to 3, as it can cause herxheimer reaction.
EVCO can be used in place of butter when cooking.
It can also be used as a moisturizer, I prefer it over a store-bought moisturizer.

Probiotics

Helps the intestinal flora stay healthy, repopulating the “good” bacteria that can sometimes be destroyed by antibiotics, stress, and unhealthy eating habits.
Probiotics are found in many foods including Kombucha, Kefir, yogurt, ACV, Sauerkraut and Kim Chi just to name a few.

Multivitamin

One a Day, Centrum and the likes are not properly digested in the body, resulting in only a small portion of them being absorbed, I do not suggest buying these brands.
Multivitamins that contain whole foods are the best to take and absorb easily. A liquid Multivitamin is truly the best form to take. These can be found at health food stores.

Fish oil

Fish oil contains DHA, EPA and essential fatty acids, including omega-3’s.
Important for brain function, mental health and lubrication of the body.
Flax seed oil can be used instead for vegetarians having its own components of Omega- 3’s. Good for arthritis, the heart and anti-aging.
Brain Foods. Krill oil is an especially good form of receiving DHA and EPA’s.

B Complex

Needed for energy production and to help lower stress levels. Good for mind, mood, memory and anxiety. They assist the cells in burning fat and glucose for energy.
B-12 helps with energy levels and works with DNA production by promoting a healthy nervous system. B-12 is best taken sublingually or intravenously.

Zinc

Zinc assists in a healthy immune system and for proper wound healing. It is needed for DNA synthesis and helps in the regulation of cells within the body. The body contains high amounts of Zinc, which is especially important in supplementing when one is ill.

5-HTP

Naturally boosts serotonin levels and wards off depression. An aid for sleep, I take with Rhodiola and find a major improvement in my levels of well-being.
There are researches being done, stating that it may help with many other functions within the body.

Iodine

An extremely important mineral that assists in thyroid production.
Most of our breads are made with bromine which blocks iodine uptake, causing thyroid and hormonal problems.
Iodine is essential for proper thyroid functioning. I take an iodine supplement daily.
Good food sources of Iodine include seaweed, especially Kelp.

Kelp

Vitamin D3

Highly effective in the winter when there is not as much sunlight and our bodies are not naturally producing D3. It is immune boosting and aids in cell differentiation; good for cell growth and wound healing. D3 Has been shown to be cancer preventative.
If the sun is out during the winter, sitting in it, even if it’s through a window for 15 minutes, can naturally boost D3 levels. I stare directly at the sun when it is out, this boosts D3 as well as other vitamins and minerals.

Magnesium

Relieves migraines, depression and insomnia. Helps relieve PMS symptoms, chronic fatigue, prevents heart attacks and reverses osteoporosis. It is very calming, when taken with 5-htp, a great sleep aid.
Magnesium is needed for calcium production, studies have shown that most American women are deficient in magnesium. Magnesium is needed double the amount of Calcium.

Milk Thistle

Assists in repairing liver cells and promoting regeneration. Milk Thistle raises the glutathione levels and helps guard against toxicity from alcohol. Studies have shown that silibinin, an active compound of silymarin (found in MT) is effective in fighting cancer in lab studies.

Liver Flush

There is a Liver flush which consists of drinking 1/2 cup of olive oil with grapefruit juice. It is quite intense, yet helps immensely.

Our liver is where the body holds anger and negative emotions, in cleansing it, one can find more tranquility and peace.

VisionQuest

Knowing something beyond the existing life I was living was to be experienced, I left an old life behind, to wander and seek out my inner vision. I was led through different terrains, to the extremes and back again. The desert heat and dryness wrung out inner demons, the mountains called into the quiet of my being. The ocean strengthened and purified, the fires of lava lit up the flames of creativity and desire. Lastly, the jungle and forest whispered to me of sacred sensuality.

Visions of my truth revealed through a quest of visioning.

“The visionquest, or perceiving quest is the way we must begin this search. We must all follow our VisionQuest to discover ourselves, to learn how we perceive of ourselves, and to find our relationship to the world around us” ~ Hyemeyohsts Storm

In Native American and other indigenous cultures a visionquest is a right of passage, marking a turning point in life. A traditional quest is done for three days, while fasting, consisting of venturing alone into the wilderness. As deep internalizing occurs, a vision may come to the seeker.

The quester is able to reach parts of the mind and spirit concealed by everyday living. In a state of purification, left with the devices of nature, this vision reflects the seeker’s true calling. The seeker is in a state of high consciousness, lending to a more enlightened state. An animal totem may appear as a guide, lending it’s magical traits to the quester.

“In many traditional cultures and spiritual paths, such a glimpse is called a vision, a soul calling, or the intuition of destiny — which never arrives in cultural terms, such as a job or social role, but rather embodied in mysterious, usually nature-based symbols, themes, or patterns.” ~ Bill Plotkin

In his book “Nature and The Human Soul” Psychologist Bill Plotkin breaks down life cycles according to a Jungian, nature-based model of existence that reflects the Native American medicine wheel. This is separated into 8 phases, healthily allowing one to become a true elder. He theorizes that people in Western civilization are stuck in patho-adolescent phases, that in our materialistic world, even as adults, most are not connected to their true natures. This is in part due to not having healthy and celebratory rites of passage, nor being in touch enough with the elements. He proposes that a part of becoming a healthy, functioning adult is seeking mind-expanding sources. Western civilization craves and seeks out these sources subconsciously, in sometimes unhealthy ways.

If one can’t face the unknown by bravely heeding the call, how can it be to consciously evolve?

As humanity and technology progress, teachings within dance, music, trances, plant medicine, sweat lodges, nature and visions can aid us in unlocking the keys to our evolution.
Leaving all expectations behind, when done with conscious intention, these techniques help the ego transform. Intense breakthroughs in consciousness can occur, sealing in the purpose of self with glimpses of one’s highest purpose.

Visions are waiting to be revealed in each and every one of us, what quest will it take for you to perceive yours?

Intuitive Opening

What I am telling you can’t be proven by statistics, science or logic, it is just my way of experiencing my gifts within this world. My natural attractions and aversions are much easier for me to understand in the place that I am in. What I have realized is that I no longer have to surround myself with anything that is detracting from my personal sense of happiness, love, freedom, joy and abundance.

My heart is my guiding force, where I feel through the most. When something is right, it will flutter like an expansive, lovely feeling. When something is not right it shuts down, feeling dark, empty and cold.
When I go into a room, or hold an object, I will understand energetically what has taken place before through flashes, colors and feelings, in different parts of my body. I call these feelings empathic residue, which I am able to “tune into”. If something doesn’t feel right, I can bring love in, which shifts energy dramatically.

We all have the ability to feel within our body’s innate intelligence what is right for us, it is only a matter of opening up to it.

Opening up to Your Intuitive Capacity

Intuition is not easily explained, nor found in a book the many forms it can take. It is a higher knowing, that each person understands for self moment to moment, coming from one’s higher force.

Learning to trust self is one of the most important aspects of being a sovereign being. Imagine if we taught children to trust themselves and their knowing, how empowered every person would grow up feeling.

As we are coming into 2012 there are many theories abound. Some propose that instead of the apocalypse, humanity is evolving into higher conscious beings.
I believe that our evolution will come in a rapid leap of consciousness.
We are coming into heavy realizations about our world. One of the most pertinent is that our world can no longer be an unbalanced system, for our actions affect not only us, but our planet, animals and future generations and perhaps even the whole universe.

Opening the pineal gland is an aspect of raising consciousness, connecting to this gland is an enlightening experience. There is so much to be said about the pineal and pituitary gland, since this is already lengthy, I will give you an easy opening meditation, and some links, if interested please do research and come up with your own decisions.

The pineal gland located in the center of the brain is known as the seat of intuition, related to the third eye chakra, this gland allows access to higher states of consciousness.

Meditation for Pineal and Pituitary Opening

The pineal and pituitary gland both secrete fluids. The pineal is white and the pituitary is yellowish gold. I like to sit quietly breathing in and out light, to then focus intently upon the pituitary gland.

Visualize the third eye chakra with white light coming from the pineal pouring out of the third eye. Two minutes.
Then visualize the light connecting to the occipital lobe, which is where we are able to comprehend our intuitive abilities.
Visualize this radiant white light lighting up all parts of the brain.

How open is your pineal gland?

Nicole
